Dan Nettleton is a producer currently residing in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He graduated in 2010 with a B.A. in Communications from Regent University where he studied cinema/television as his major. He is now pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree (MFA) in Producing for Cinema/Television.
In 2000 Dan worked on his first independent short film and has been hooked ever since. He has worked in various capacities on 16 short films, 2 features, 2 music videos, 5 promotional videos, 1 television show, and has 2 more features in development.
In addition to full-time schooling, Dan is also a full time recruitment associate for Regent University’s School of Communication & the Arts. He performs various recruiting duties to attract students to Regent’s graduate and undergraduate programs. In this capacity he has been instrumental in coordinating Regent University’s Reel Dreams Film Competition for 2010 and 2011. He received the Audience Favorite award with his short T-406 in 2008 for the inaugural Reel Dreams Film Competition and is currently helping to plan for the event that will take place in 2012.
